In 2020, HCMUE was further designated as one of Vietnam's National Key Universities, solidifying its role as a leading institution in education and pure science research [1].
Between 1976 and 2006, HCMUE educated over 65,945 graduates, including 1,000 postgraduates, and provided training for 33,800 teachers. The university has also cultivated educational partnerships with over 50 universities worldwide, underscoring its historical commitment to both national development and international collaboration [1].
