Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy (HPMU), located in Haiphong, Vietnam, is a prominent public university specializing in healthcare education and research. In 1999, it was officially established as an independent university based on the former branch campus, according to Decision No. 06/1999/QĐ-TTg of the Government Prime Minister [5]. The institution was further renamed to Hai Phong University of Medicine and Pharmacy in November 2013 by a decision from the Prime Minister, placing it under the authority of the Ministry of Health [5].
