Annamalai University, a prominent public state university located in Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India, spans a vast campus of approximately 1,500 acres [1]. In 1928, an agreement was reached with the local government to transform these colleges into a university, leading to the official establishment of Annamalai University on January 1, 1929, under the Annamalai University Act 1928 [1].
