I'm honoured to continue the legacy, developing films together in this Iconic studio. I personally feel the sense of continuity, of preserving a legacy that in fact is so vital for Hollywood and so important in this fragile business of making films”, she says.

Valentina Castellani Quinn: A legacy of storytelling and impact
Valentina Castellani Quinn, an acclaimed visionary and award-winning founder of the renowned Quinn Studios Entertainment, was born in Florence, Italy. She grew up surrounded by the arts at her family’s historic Teatro Verdi, an opera house established in the 1800s. Valentina studied arts and painting in college before pursuing acting at the Academy Theatre in Florence under the mentorship of Vittorio Gassman. In 1993, she moved to Paris to study at the École du Cinéma Française.
For the past 20 years, Valentina has lived in Los Angeles, building a career as a respected film producer. In 2012, she co-founded Quinn Studios Entertainment in memory of her late husband, Francesco Quinn, son of the legendary Oscar-winning actor Anthony Quinn. Francesco, a gifted actor celebrated for his role in Oliver Stone’s iconic film Platoon, inspired Valentina to create the studio as a tribute to his legacy. The studio focuses on producing and post-producing projects that honour Francesco’s dedication to the arts and his commitment to world peace.
Valentina’s father-in-law, Anthony Quinn, was a Hollywood legend known for his unforgettable performances in Oscar-winning films such as Lust for Life and Viva Zapata!, as well as Fellini’s iconic La Strada. A two-time Academy Award winner and nominee, Anthony Quinn was celebrated for his versatility, earning BAFTA and Golden Globe nominations for roles in Lawrence of Arabia, Zorba the Greek, The Secret of Santa Vittoria, and Lust for Life. He also received multiple Primetime Emmy nominations, including one for Onassis: The Richest Man in the World. In 1987, he was honoured with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his outstanding contribution to the film industry, and in 1960, he was commemorated with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Anthony Quinn’s career symbolised passion, resilience, and unparalleled talent, leaving an enduring mark on cinema and culture.
Quinn Studios Entertainment continues this legacy under Valentina Castellani Quinn’s leadership. The studio has produced and co-produced several notable projects, including the 2012 documentary series Life on a Bike (filmed across 11 countries), the 2014 Oscar-nominated The Butterfly’s Dream, the 2019 Oscar-contending film Wonderful Losers, and the award-winning documentaries One Rock Three Religions (2016) and The Square (2014). Anthony Quinn’s legacy is further honoured with a production stage named after him on the prestigious Sony Pictures Studios lot, cementing his influence in the world of entertainment.
Valentina has been instrumental in bringing groundbreaking stories to life by providing a platform for creative talent, ensuring they reach audiences far beyond niche markets.
Marvin Williams: Championing innovation in film education and production
Described early in his career as a "Jack of all trades," Marvin Williams, named after the legendary music icon Marvin Gaye, has seamlessly combined his skills in programming, web development, and special effects to build a dynamic foundation in Hollywood's creative industries. By his early twenties, Marvin was already consulting for major organisations, including Ernst & Young, Andersen Consulting, and Disney, contributing to Disney’s $1.2 billion California Adventure theme park expansion. He later transitioned into web development, taking on the role of webmaster at Equity Marketing (NASDAQ) and providing expertise in SAP implementation.
Approximately 15 years ago, Marvin shifted the focus of his tech career towards the entertainment industry, where he has made significant contributions across film, television, and music. Since 2009, through his collaboration with renowned choreographer Flii Stylz, Marvin began working on projects with Interscope Records and expanded his portfolio to include collaborations with some of the world’s most iconic artists and media entities. His extensive list of collaborators includes Sony Pictures Entertainment, Disney Records, Mickey Rourke, Dionne Warwick, Clive Davis, Magic Johnson, BET, the BET Awards, MTV Teen Choice Awards, the VIBE Awards, and, most recently, the NAACP Theatre Awards.
In 2008, Marvin founded his independent production company, Big M Entertainment, which has since grown to be publicly listed on the OTC Markets under the ticker symbol HQGE.
According to Valentina:
“Marvin has been discovered to have extraordinary talent and a respected resume, he is "solid" as a professional and as a human being. I value his qualities tremendously.
Marvin has shown the capacity to inspire you creatively, but he is also a genius when it comes to business and finances! In a world which identifies with appearances Marvin is the exception that confirms the rule that only with ethics, great commitment, teamwork and tremendous courage one can succeed. I am proud to reveal that we already have a great portfolio of projects that we are developing together for both domestic and international markets.”
