Boson Protocol named among The World Economic Forum’s selection of the 100 most promising Technology Pioneers of 2022.
Boson Protocol, the universal settlement layer for commerce, was selected among hundreds of candidates as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers”. Boson Protocol enables a decentralized commerce ecosystem where all participants share in the value they create.
The World Economic Forum’s Technology Pioneers are early to growth-stage companies from around the world that are involved in the use of new technologies and innovations that are poised to have a significant impact on business and society.
With Boson Protocol’s selection as Technology Pioneer, Co Founder, Justin Banon will be invited to participate at World Economic Forum activities, events and discussions throughout the year. Boson Protocol will also contribute to Forum initiatives over the next two years, working with global leaders to help address key industry and societal issues.
“It’s great to be acknowledged as a pioneer by the World Economic Forum”, said Justin Banon. “We are building the universal settlement layer for commerce, enabling the tokenization, transfer and trade of any digital or physical thing as an NFT, facilitating a more open, equitable commerce ecosystem. Think TCP/IP protocol, but instead of data, Boson carries trust.”
“We’re excited to welcome Boson Protocol to our 2022 cohort of Technology Pioneers,” says Saemoon Yoon, Community Lead, Technology Pioneers, World Economic Forum. “Boson Protocol and its fellow pioneers are at the forefront of industries that are critical to solving some of our world’s most complex issues today. We look forward to their contribution to the World Economic Forum in its commitment to improving the state of the world.”
With the upcoming launch of V2 later in the year, Boson will solve one of the fundamental oracle problems of Web3: how to guarantee transactions when selling real-world assets with smart contracts - but without a centralized intermediary.
Technology Pioneers have been selected based on the community’s selection criteria, which includes innovation, impact and leadership as well as the company’s relevance with the World Economic Forum’s Platforms.
