Socios.com introduces a new way for fans to engage with their national teams as Italy and Argentina prepare to defend their European and South American championship titles in Germany and the United States respectively. The platform has launched "The Fabric of Champions", a series of digital collectibles celebrating the legacy of both teams through some of their most iconic jerseys.
The initiative, available exclusively to Fan Token holders of both the Italian and Argentinian football federations, allows supporters to access official digital memorabilia by locking their Fan Tokens through Socios.com’s recently launched Locker Room feature. This new feature aims to enhance fan involvement and reward their support during this significant football season.
Digital collectibles categories and fan token locking
"The Fabric of Champions" offers four distinct categories of digital collectibles, each representing different aspects of football history and requiring varying amounts of Fan Tokens to claim:
- Classic - The Present: These collectibles are based on the kits for the upcoming championships. There are 2,000 available per team, and you need to lock 5 Fan Tokens to get one.
- Bronze - The Future: These feature AI-created versions of future home kits. There are 1,000 available per team, and you need to lock 10 Fan Tokens to get one.
- Silver - The Past: These reflect kits from recent tournament wins. There are 750 available per team, and you need to lock 15 Fan Tokens to get one.
- Gold - The Legendary: These showcase iconic kits from historic events. There are 300 available per team, and you need to lock 50 Fan Tokens to get one.
Fans who collect all four categories will be eligible to win an official jersey of the team whose Fan Tokens they locked. The locking period for Fan Tokens is open until July 15th, with the final locking period ending on August 15th.
Fan Token holders have two options for locking their tokens:
- Locked Locker: Users receive their digital collectibles automatically but cannot unlock their Fan Tokens until the end of the locking period.
- Flexible Locker: Users receive their collectibles at the end of the locking period, provided they have not unlocked their Fan Tokens before then.
Locking Fan Tokens renders them untradeable, but users can still engage with their team and earn Reward Points through Socios.com’s various fan engagement features.

The new initiative aims to deepen fan engagement by merging digital and physical experiences.
